Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GEO-ify (the "App", "Service"), a Shopify app operated by Legitimate LLC ("we", "us"). By installing or using GEO-ify, you ("Merchant", "you") agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
GEO-ify audits your Shopify product catalog against the technical requirements of AI shopping channels (ChatGPT Shopping, Google AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity), and generates rewrites to improve discoverability. Every rewrite is reversible from the in-app Change Log.
2. Eligibility
You must operate a Shopify store in good standing and accept Shopify’s Partner Program terms applicable to apps you install. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
3. Plans + billing
- Free — included by default. Audit + up to 20 autopilot rewrites per calendar month per shop.
- Basic — US $29 per shop per 30 days, with a 14-day free trial. Unlimited rewrites during the active subscription. Charges are processed by Shopify on our behalf via Shopify Billing.
Charges renew automatically every 30 days until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the in-app Billing screen; cancellation is prorated by Shopify. No refunds are issued for partial months — the 14-day free trial is provided so you can fully evaluate the Service before incurring any charge.
4. Use of LLMs
GEO-ify uses Moonshot AI’s Kimi K2.6 large language model (via the OpenRouter gateway) to generate rewrites. Rewrites are best-effort suggestions, may contain errors or hallucinations, and require your review. You remain responsible for the final product copy on your store. Every rewrite is logged and reversible.
5. Autopilot mode
By default, GEO-ify operates in autopilot mode: approved-by-default rewrites are applied to your products automatically after audit. You can disable autopilot from the in-app settings at any time. All changes are reversible from the Change Log; the original value of every rewrite is retained for the lifetime of the install.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for products that violate Shopify’s Acceptable Use Policy.
- Use the Service to publish false, misleading, or fraudulent product claims (e.g., health, financial, or pricing misrepresentations).
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
- Resell or sublicense the Service to third parties.
7. Intellectual property
Your product copy — including rewrites generated by the Service — remains your property. The Service’s codebase, rule definitions, brand-voice analysis logic, and underlying systems are our intellectual property.
8. Data + privacy
Our handling of merchant + shopper data is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference.
9. Warranties + disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that AI-generated rewrites will be accurate or improve sales.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the total fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) US $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time: you, by uninstalling the App from your Shopify admin; us, on 30 days’ notice or immediately for breach of these Terms or Shopify’s policies. On termination, we cease accessing your store and delete your data per the schedule in the Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflicts-of-law principles. Disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
13. Changes
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice or to the merchant contact email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
